Aldi, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s issue urgent recalls of chocolate, yogurt, pizza and pasta

Chocolate, yogurt, pizza and pasta products are among the latest items pulled from supermarket shelves over safety concerns.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) watchdog has issued alerts in recent days with some items containing salmonella, while others could include metal parts.

Major UK retailers including Aldi, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s are affected by the recalls.

If you have purchased one of the items listed below, you should not eat it.

Instead, customers must return the item to the store where it was purchased for a full refund. You are not likely to need a receipt.

Yoplait UK has issued a safety warning about its Frubes Variety Pack amid fears it may contain metal parts.

Yoplait Frubes Strawberry, Red Berry and Peach Variety Pack is being recalled due to risk.

The FSA said that small pieces of metal were found in the peach flavor inside the multipack, making this product unsafe to eat.

Only products with a ‘C’ after the expiration date are affected, shown as ‘February 09 C’ on the packaging.

Supermarkets including Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s are recalling various pastry and dough products after salmonella was detected.

The advisory has been issued for raw ready-to-roll dough and cake products manufactured by Bake Away.

A total of 17 products have been recalled, including supermarket own-brand items and Pizza Express dough and Galberts patisserie.

Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps.
