Slow Cooker Roasted Chicken
1 whole chicken (about 4 to 5 pounds), without the interior
1 tablespoon of paprika
2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
(aluminum foil or thickly sliced onions or vegetables)
Rinse chicken well and pat dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, whisk together the paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until just combined. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, on the outer skin, the inner cavity, and the chicken breasts under the skin.

Roll up some small balls of aluminum foil (or thickly slice some onions and / or veggies) and place them in the bottom of your slow cooker bowl to serve as a “grill” for the chicken so you don’t have to. cook in the juices that will collect in the bottom of the slow cooker. Place the chicken on top of the foil (or veggies), pressing it down a bit if necessary so that the lid fits. Slow Cooker Baked Potatoes
4 baking potatoes, well scrubbed
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
kosher salt to taste
4 sheets of aluminum foil
Prick the potatoes with a fork several times, then rub them with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and wrap tightly in foil. Place the potatoes in a slow cooker, cover and cook on high for 4 1/2 to 5 hours, or on low for 7 1/2 to 8 hours until tender.
1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 cups of water
1/3 cup oil
6 apples peeled, cored and sliced
4 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of butter cut into small pieces
Preheat oven to 350 F degrees and spray a 13×9-inch pan with baking spray.
Prepare the yellow cake according to the instructions on the package: add the cake mix, 3 eggs, water and oil to the bowl of your mixer and mix on low speed for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan.
In medium bowl, mix apple mixture ingredients and spread over pie crust.
