To help rebuild the lives of those affected by the tornadoes that struck western Kentucky on December 10-11 (including members of his extended business family), world-renowned chef / restaurateur David burke host concurrent Kentucky-themed dinners to benefit the Western Kentucky Team Relief Fund on Thursday, January 13 at nine of its restaurants in New Jersey, New York and North Carolina. The three-course meal at $ 150 per person will showcase Kentucky’s most famous export bourbon, courtesy of Woodford Reserve Distillery, and one of the newest in the state. Bluegrass F1 Wagyu beef.

Exclusive to Burke, the purebred small-batch, grass and grain-fed, purebred Wagyu and Black Angus hybrid beef and Kentucky and Black Angus will make its official national debut at David Burke’s Dinners for Kentucky’s Recovery. Therefore, attendees will not only contribute to the future of tornado victims, but will be among the first in the world to experience what Burke unequivocally declares to be the best meat he has ever tasted.

The Beef and Bourbon Dinners are the first multi-location, single-grantee charity initiative in Burke’s long history of helping important, life-enhancing causes such as the Team Western Kentucky Relief Fund. which was established by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear to aid tornado victims. They will begin with a Woodford Reserve Bourbon Reception Cocktail, in which Kentucky-associated libations such as mint juleps and bourbon balls will be mixed with past canapes, including Wagyu Bluegrass F1-centric flavors.

Wine-paired sit-down dinner highlights, including Burke’s new Red Horse label, a proprietary Cabernet, CarménèreMalbec Blend Sirah will encompass the likes of Burke’s Lobster Dumplings and Maple Pepper Dry Aged Wagyu Bluegrass F1 Steak and Chocolate Bourbon Bread Pudding.

$ 150 tickets for the beef and bourbon dinners that support the efforts of the Western Kentucky Team Relief Fund on behalf of tornado victims will be available through the websites of participating David Burke restaurants. One third ($ 50) of each ticket will be donated to the fund with the goal of raising more than $ 30,000.
